The low block is open to people of 18 and over, the age the Northern Territory sets. The front page asks you to confirm before going further. Answering untruthfully makes no difference, because the check that counts happens at that door, with photo ID in hand, on every visit.

No gambling happens on this website

These pages describe a hotel and the gaming room that belongs to it. They offer no games, take no stakes, hold no account, accept no deposit and move no money, so nothing done here can win or lose anything. Gaming takes place at 62 Barrett Drive, in person.

Accuracy

Hours, rooms and descriptions are kept current and are sometimes wrong anyway: the truck is late, the pool is drained, the board has three things on it instead of seven. Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance and no page creates a contract. A booking exists once the desk has confirmed it by telephone or email, on the terms given then.

Our material

Text, drawings, photographs and the arrangement of them belong to the hotel or are used with permission. Read them, print a page, link to it. Do not republish them, copy them elsewhere, or use them to train a model, without written permission.

Conduct on the property

Staff may refuse service, refuse entry at the low block, or ask a guest to leave, where someone is intoxicated, abusive, unable to produce identification, or spoiling the place for others. In the gaming room the floor staff's decision stands at the time it is made; a disagreement goes to the duty manager afterwards, not to the table.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be reachable, and it may be taken down for maintenance without notice.

Liability

We are liable for what the law does not let us exclude, and under the Australian Consumer Law that includes a good deal. Beyond that we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, such as a journey made on the strength of an hour listed here that had changed.

Governing law

The law of the Northern Territory and of the Commonwealth of Australia governs this site and these terms, and the courts of the Northern Territory have jurisdiction.
